An early start in the dark to travel up to London on an school trip to support one of our special needs students. After what seemed to be a very long journey we left the coach onto the busy London streets. Our first port of call was Tate Modern for a very brief one hour visit.
If I’m honest, Tate Modern is not really my cup of tea. There’s an awful lot of uninspiring conceptual art that leaves me cold. On the top floor there is the bonus of a Dali and some pop art that’s worth a look. On the whole though most of what I saw very ho-hum.

Leaving Tate Modern we headed to our final destination of the day, Tate Britain.
